ABOUT DOODLES Doodles are an extremely intelligent, calm, trainable and hypoallergenic. They are exceptionally patient with children, and sensitive to the needs of those around them. Doodles are athletic, playful, affectionate and cuddly. They do not bark often, and fit in well with other dogs and large families. They are well suited to families with allergies and other sensitivities. They require professional grooming. Doodles make excellent service dogs. OUR PUPPIES Each Ponsonby puppy is hand raised from birth. Each is named and given an identity from day one. Ponsonby puppies are confident and outgoing because socialization happens from the very beginning. Ponsonby breeds for calm and gentle temperament, intelligence, hypo-allergenic coat quality, health and for red, apricot and gold colour. We breed both Standard and Miniature sized puppies. Ponsonby puppies begin house-training at a very early age with the help of our specially designed puppy homes that recreate mini-living room indoor spaces, and provide 24/7 access to wooden puppy-decks and spacious outdoor play yards. They learn quickly that outdoors is for play and poop, and indoor is for food and rest. OUR PARENT DOGS Our parent dogs are DNA tested and cleared before they are ever bred. They either live in our home or in Forever Guardian homes where they are loved and pampered. Ponsonby parent dogs walk off-leash daily, sleep in cozy beds, eat quality food and receive regular medical care. Ponsonby Parent dogs are never uprooted and forced to re-home when they retire from breeding, because they are placed in forever guardian homes from the very beginning. Ponsonby dogs matter and they live with dignity.
